IWEM Program Progression

Our International Wilderness & Expedition Medicine (IWEM) Program was developed for those who, like many of us, were bitten by the "Wilderness Medicine bug" and desire to work worldwide as an expedition leader or wilderness medical professional. All of our classes with our partner, SOLO Southeast, and our IWEMT Belize Expedition are available to all students, but we have developed a 3-year progression for those who want to either work internationally, or be an IWEMT Instructor with MedicForce.

Students who choose to embark on the 3-year journey with MedicForce will be paired with a mentor, receive various class and program discounts, have the opportunity to co-instruct classes as a paid instructor, and plan and execute an International Project in Belize.
